Exterior finish, water and air control layers, thermal insulation and the internal surface must be arranged in the correct order. Material thickness should be chosen using project requirements rather than a generic specification.
Roof and floor continuity
Roof ventilation, safe rainwater discharge, protection from ground moisture and the reduction of thermal bridges are just as important as wall insulation. Junctions need particular attention during design and installation.
Windows and workmanship
Glazing is only part of the solution. Frame quality, the installation joint, airtightness, external sealing and continuity around each opening determine real-world performance and long-term comfort.
